Coalition of youth organizations SEGA implements the project: "Strengthening youth inclusion in local communities", supp

orted by the USAID Citizen Participation Project implemented by the East West Management Institute (EWMI) in partnership with four local civil society organizations: Foundation for internet society "Metamorphosis", Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI), Foundation Open Society - Macedonia (FOSM), and National Youth Council of Macedonia (NMSM). A Call for Local Field Researchers is being announced within this project. Activists and members of youth organizations are encouraged to apply for the process of local data collection in relation to civic participation in decision-making processes.  24 local field data collectors will be selected from the following cities:

  1. Veles - 1 person                      11. Radovish - 1 person
  2. Kavadarci - 1 person               12. Strumica - 1 person
  3. Sveti Nikole - 1 person           13. Prilep - 1 person
  4. Negotino - 1 person                14. Bitola - 1 person
  5. Stip - 1 person                         15. Resen - 1 person
  6. Kochani - 1 person                  16. Gostivar - 1 person
  7. Debar - 1 person                     17. Tetovo - 1 person
  8. Ohrid - 1 person                      18. Tearce - 1 person
  9. Struga - 1 person                    19. Kumanovo - 1 person
  10. Gevgelija - 1 person               20. Skopje - 5 people




Local field researchers will be obliged to implement:

  •  Polls
  •  Interviews with local institutions
  • 1 Focus groups (Veles, Stip, Skopje, Kumanovo, Struga, Strumica, Bitola, Tetovo)

The data collection process is within the Youth Development Index Macedonia, which is being applied for the first time on national level in the period April - May 2018.

Orientation training on the methodology of data collection will be organized in April 2018. The implemented activities provide  appropriate compensation in accordance with the scope of research.

The selection will be based on the following criteria:

  • Higher education - completed or in progress
  • Previous experience in field research
  • Affiliation in civil society organizations working with young people

* The advantage in the selection process will be a representatives of member organizations of Coalition SEGA.



Candidates who wish to apply should fill in an e-Application in which they should attach their CV. The deadline for completing the application is March 28, 2018. Untimely and incomplete documents will not be considered.
